Coffee Table Book - Gregory Crewdson : Eveningside

For the past thirty years, Gregory Crewdson has created a compelling portrait of middle America. Through his cinematic photographs, he meticulously captures the fading dream of a wide-eyed nation. This book features three collections created between 2012 and 2022: Cathedral of the Pines (2012-2014), An Eclipse of Moths (2018-2019), and Eveningside (2021-2022). Together, these three bodies of work provide a decade-long glimpse into Crewdson's creative process and offer a comprehensive view of his universe, solidifying his place as a prominent contemporary photographer. The trilogy is prefaced by Fireflies (1996), a pivotal series that delves into the intimate themes present in Crewdson's art. A graduate of SUNY Purchase and the Yale School of Art, Crewdson serves as the director of graduate studies in photography at Yale. He is best known for his series Beneath the Roses.
