"Ruby" the 1973 and a half BMW R75/5 was meticulously rebuilt by hand by RoughChild Moto.
RoughChild is based in Downtown Los Angeles and skips no detail in his rebuild projects.
This is NOT a fresh coat of paint and new ties.
Every detail of a RoughChild build is done with care. Each bike is a frame off full restoration to better then OEM standards. When you purchase a RoughChild build you are getting a "Brand New" classic BMW Motorcycle
Ruby the 1973.5 was an R75/5 that was only built to this spec for a 3 month period of time in the BMW production facility. Ruby is a long wheel base model where 2" was added to the rear shaft drive. If you look closely you can see the exposed weld from the factory of this modification. BMW decided to make this standard in later models of 73' and forged the rear shaft drive accordingly. Making this '73.5 R75/5 extremly rare as is. Throw in the bundle of goodies added by RoughChild and you have yourself.
