These days it seems a lot of things are going back to basics, and why not?
There is a reason there is the saying "If it's not broke, don't fix it." and that's exactly what the 1892 by Thorogood line is doing. Though, Thorogood never changed their stance on premium footwear made in Wisconsin, they did however go into the vault on this one and reintroduce their classic profile of the No. 60 last, which is a legendary design of A.H. Weinbrenner, the founder and creator of Thorogood.
Noted as one of the oldest bootmakers in the country, Thorogood's roots run deep and when you do something for long enough it shows. The final product of an 1892 boot is a simple reflection of a company who has been designing, constructing, and mastering the skill of what they love to do for 125 years.
Thorogood craftsmen work with only the finest hand selected Horween CXL leathers. The 1892 collection sits on the No.60 last and is highlighted by the use of Nitrile Cork and Goodyear Weltconstruction.
